Dear Brother Davidoff:

This will acknowledge the charter application and the proposed
constitution for a new local central body, submitted by Regional
Director Mary Crayton, to be known as Mid-State Central Labor
Council (New York) with territorial jurisdiction over Cortland,
Tompkins and Schuyler Counties.

Also acknowledged is a check in the amount of $50.00 to cover
the cost of a new charter and seal.

In accordance with Rule 8 of the Rules Governing AFL-CIO Local
Central Bodies, the proposed constitution is hereby approved.

In accordance with Rule 5 of the Rules Governing AFL-CIO Local
Central Bodies, the issuance of a new charter is hereby approved.
The new charter and seal will be sent to you within forty-five
days.
