On behalf of Teamsters Local 317 | would like to express our sincere thanks for your support in our

organizing attempt of Central State Beef and Veal. The degree of support and enthusiasm for the
discharged workers was unlike anything I’ve ever seen.

Even though we were unsuccessful in our attempt to organize this group, It took great courage for
the employees who were discharged to take a stand and your presence was appreciated as it is

important for workers to know that the Midstate Central Labor Coalition will actively support
organizing new groups.

The Midstate Central Labor Coalition and the Cortland Workers Rights Boards continuous
encouragement is a great benefit to all workers in your area. Again, on behalf of the Local and the
discharged employees of Center State Beef and Veal, thanks to all that helped. | look forward to
seeing all of you again.
