legislation by the city of Ithaca. :

We have felt a certain frustration in the past when our lobbying
efforts to secure passage of a national plant closing bill proved

fruitless.

We hope to meet with Steve Jackson soon to discuss how we might
initiate a movement for local plant closing legislation in Chemung
and Steuben Counties based on your experience in Ithaca.
