THE TOMPKINS-CORTLAND LABOR COALITION 26 UNIONS...7000 WORKERS STRONG To all members of the Labor Coalition: The next meeting will be on Thursday, March 28 at 6:30 PM at 701 West State Street in Ithaca at the Plumbers and Pipefitters Hall. This is a good meeting to attend as the Labor Movie of the Month will follow directly at 7:30 PM. This months movie will be "Harlan County, USA" the story of a bitter, year long strike in the coal fields of Kentucky. We have heard that this is an excellant film, both informative and moving. Bring a friend from your Local and come and enjoy. February's movie, "The Inheritance" was well attended and everyone got into the film as well as the discussion that followed. To be discussed at the Meeting: 1. Plant Closing Legislation 2. Photo #xhibit 3. TC3 and Labor Coalition Workshop for H.S. students Negotiation Update Remember...send your dues to anyone on the steering committee | if you haven't already...and...send your photos to the Labor Coalition at 701 W.
